Code yellow is the lowest of the three weather warning levels that the KNMI, the Dutch national weather service, issues for severe weather such as storms, heavy rain or snow. It means the weather may cause some disruption, so people should stay alert and follow the latest updates. The higher levels are code orange (dangerous weather) and code red (very dangerous weather).
