The grid tariffs are the regulated costs that residents pay to network operators for maintaining the infrastructure that delivers electricity and gas to their homes. These fees are a standard part of every Dutch energy bill and help fund necessary upgrades to the national energy grid. They are essential for ensuring a reliable energy supply as the country transitions to more renewable power sources.
