The A2 motorway towards Eindhoven is closed between Boxtel and Best-West after a serious accident involving two trucks near Liempde. Rijkswaterstaat, the national roads agency, expects to reopen the road around 9 pm on Wednesday evening.
Drivers heading for Eindhoven face long delays. Around 5:15 pm, the delay on the route towards Eindhoven was expected to reach 45 minutes.
A diversion starts at the Vught junction (knooppunt Vught). Traffic towards Eindhoven can drive around the closed stretch by going through Tilburg, following the A65 and then the A58.
