Thieves ram stolen car into Eibergen jeweller's shop
Police are looking for the offenders, and for witnesses and camera footage, after the overnight ram raid on the Brink in Eibergen.
Offenders drove a stolen white Kia Sportage into the front of a jeweller's shop on the Brink in Eibergen in the early hours of Monday, police say. They escaped with loot.
Police have cordoned off a wide area around the shop as they investigate.
Police are asking anyone who saw something suspicious near the Brink to come forward. They also want camera images, such as dashcam or doorbell camera footage, of the raid, of people fleeing or of a getaway car. Tips can also be given anonymously through Meld Misdaad Anoniem, the anonymous crime reporting line.

Meld Misdaad Anoniem (MMA)
Meld Misdaad Anoniem is a free service in the Netherlands where anyone can pass on information about a crime without giving their name. Tips can be made by phone (0800 7000) or online, and the service forwards them to the police and judicial authorities. It matters because police often appeal to the public through this channel when they want witnesses to come forward without being identified.
