Police appeal for witnesses after explosion damages Arnhem front door
Police are asking witnesses and residents with camera footage to come forward after explosions at two homes in Arnhem.
An explosion just after 01.00 in the night from Wednesday to Thursday damaged the front door of a home on the Apeldoornsestraat in Arnhem, police said.
Police are investigating the cause and urge witnesses to come forward. They said camera footage, for example from video doorbells, could matter to the investigation.
Police are also investigating an explosion on the Delfzijlstraat in Arnhem. They are looking into possible suspects and a motive.
For the Delfzijlstraat case, police want footage not only from that street but also from surrounding streets and locations. That includes surveillance footage, video doorbells and dashcams. Police say any information, however small it may seem, can matter.

Meld Misdaad Anoniem
Meld Misdaad Anoniem (Report Crime Anonymously) is a Dutch service where anyone can pass on information about a crime without giving their name. Tips are submitted by phone, on 0800-7000, or through an online form, and are passed on to the police. It matters because people who are afraid to be identified can still help investigations.
