Two men injured in separate shootings in Rotterdam and Middelburg
Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after two separate shootings, in Rotterdam-Delfshaven and in Middelburg.
A man was injured in each of two separate shootings: one on Friday evening around 18:15 on the Rauwenhoffstraat in Rotterdam-Delfshaven, the other around 16:30 on the Rustenburgstraat in Middelburg. The man in Middelburg was rushed to hospital.
A police spokesperson in Rotterdam said ambulance staff were examining the victim at the scene. Police asked witnesses to come forward.
In Middelburg, police said the shooter probably got into a car and drove away. Officers are investigating what happened. They called on anyone who may have footage of the incident or the shooter to share it with them.
