MMA (Meld Misdaad Anoniem)
Meld Misdaad Anoniem (MMA) is the Dutch anonymous crime reporting line, where anyone can pass on information about a crime without giving their name. Tips are passed on to the police and investigative services, which is why it often leads to searches and arrests.
WWM (Wet wapens en munitie)
The Weapons and Ammunition Act is the Dutch law that regulates firearms, ammunition and other weapons, including who may possess, carry, buy or sell them and under what conditions. Possessing firearms without the required permission is an offence under this law, and police rely on it when they search homes for weapons.
