Woman falls into sewer pit several metres deep in Eindhoven
A woman on a bicycle was injured and taken to hospital on Tuesday morning after she fell into an open pit on the Strijpsestraat, a street closed for sewer works.
A woman on a bicycle fell into an open pit several metres deep on the Strijpsestraat in Eindhoven on Tuesday morning, while sewer works were under way. The fire brigade pulled her out and she was taken to hospital.
The street was closed for the works, and a sign said no entry. Many cyclists rode past the works anyway.
