DSW can take sole control of Salland Holding

The Authority for Consumers and Markets says enough competition remains after health insurer DSW takes sole control of Salland Holding.

The Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) ruled on 21 October 2026 that DSW Zorgverzekeraar U.A. may acquire sole control of Salland Holding B.V.

The ACM says enough competition remains after the takeover. Anyone with an interest in the decision can respond within six weeks by sending a letter to the district court in Rotterdam (Rechtbank Rotterdam) explaining why their interests are harmed. The period starts once the companies have been told of the decision.
