Violence in Overasselt has cost Heumen hundreds of thousands of euros
The municipality of Heumen says last month's outbreak of violence in Overasselt has already cost it "hundreds of thousands of euros", including closing homes and installing cameras.
Last month's outbreak of violence in Overasselt, a village in the municipality of Heumen, has so far cost the local authority "hundreds of thousands of euros", a municipal spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said the money goes on two kinds of costs. The direct costs are tied to the incident itself, such as closing homes and installing camera surveillance. On top of that come indirect costs.
