A man from Schiedam was taken from his home and held for a night in a property in Amsterdam-West. Two men from Amsterdam, aged 21 and 23, have been arrested on suspicion of abusing and humiliating him and at least one other person they approached through a dating app. Police are still looking for a third suspect in his case.
A police spokesperson said the abuse in Amsterdam happened more than a month ago. Officers searched the property where the man is believed to have been held at the time. They arrested its resident later.
The same two men are also suspected of a similar assault on a resident of Hilversum, who had likewise been in contact through a dating app.
