Two 3FM DJs to be locked in Glazen Huis in Arnhem
3FM hosts Wijnand Speelman and Barend van Deelen will spend the week before Christmas in the Glazen Huis (Glass House) on De Markt in Arnhem, raising money for the Dutch Burns Foundation.
3FM DJs Wijnand Speelman and Barend van Deelen, both 38, will be locked in the Glazen Huis for 3FM Serious Request this year. The glass studio will stand on De Markt in Arnhem from 18 to 24 December 2026.
This year's campaign is raising money for the Nederlandse Brandwonden Stichting, the Dutch Burns Foundation. The action week traditionally takes place in the week before Christmas.
Only the two DJs have been announced so far. The organisation hints on social media that a third DJ may be added later. An announcement video asks: "Who is number 3?"
Last year three DJs took part in the Glazen Huis.

3FM Serious Request
3FM Serious Request is an annual charity fundraising campaign run by the Dutch public radio station 3FM, with a live broadcast that runs for about a week in December. DJs stay in the Glazen Huis (glass house), a glass studio in a public square, and listeners and viewers donate money to good causes. It matters here because it is one of the best-known yearly charity events in the Netherlands, and the money raised goes to the charities it supports.
