The social plan for the reorganisation at Mercedes-Benz CAC in Maastricht provides for the statutory transition payment (transitievergoeding) to be multiplied by 2.0, with a minimum payment of €5,000 gross, pro rata.
What the plan offers employees
- Employees receive a Re Start Bonus of €3,500 gross.
- Employees aged 55 and older get an extra multiplication factor of 0.2.
- Employees who register early can receive an extra multiplication factor of 0.2.
- Employees get €1,000 for legal or financial advice.
CNV is asking members what their main objection is. It wants to know whether it concerns the reorganisation itself, such as the number of available jobs or the need for outsourcing, or the social plan.
Members whose objection is to the social plan are asked which concrete agreement should be improved, and which change would make the difference for them.
