Flights at Eindhoven airport unaffected by explosives found at air base
Defence's bomb disposal team will clear the explosives found at the Eindhoven air base, and air traffic at the airport is not affected, the military police say.
Explosives have been found on the site of Vliegbasis Eindhoven, the air base at Eindhoven, the military police said.
The Defence bomb disposal team (Explosieven Opruimingsdienst Defensie, EOD) will clear the explosives, a spokeswoman for the Koninklijke Marechaussee said.
The situation does not affect air traffic at Eindhoven Airport, which shares its runway with the air force, the marechaussee said. Work by the Ministry of Defence at the air base is also continuing as normal.
