SGP (Staatkundig Gereformeerde Partij)

A small orthodox Protestant political party in the Netherlands, represented in the House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer). It bases its politics on its reading of the Bible, and it often takes positions on moral and religious questions. In this story, its objection was enough to lead to the original flag idea being withdrawn.
