Offlimits

Offlimits is a Dutch organisation that takes legal action on behalf of the public interest. In this case it is suing Meta together with The Firewall and the Consumentenbond, asking a court for summary proceedings (kort geding) to have Meta's AI camera glasses removed from Dutch shops. The case matters because it tests whether these glasses, which can record people without much notice, comply with Dutch and European privacy rules.
