The Netherlands, explained

Kinderrechtencollectief

The Kinderrechtencollectief (Children's Rights Collective) is a Dutch coalition of organisations that works to promote and protect children's rights in the Netherlands, based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. It monitors how well the Dutch government and other institutions meet these rights, publishes an annual monitor on the subject, and lobbies politicians to act on its findings. Its work matters because it gives children's organisations a joint voice in debates in The Hague on issues such as safety, violence, and the right to be heard.
