The Netherlands, explained

Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP)

The Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens is the Dutch data protection authority, the independent government body that supervises compliance with privacy law, including the GDPR (AVG), in the Netherlands. It can investigate complaints, issue warnings and impose fines on organisations and individuals who process personal data unlawfully. In this article it warns that filming a person without their permission usually breaks privacy rules, even when the recording is made with a camera worn on glasses.
