Ajax hit 6 goals at ten-man Midtjylland in Conference League

Ajax beat FC Midtjylland away in Herning in the Conference League, scoring 6 goals. Tolu Arokodare scored twice, the first in the ninth minute with a header from an Oscar Gloukh corner.

Friday Etim equalised for Midtjylland later in the first half, and the VAR did not intervene despite a possible foul on Thilo Kehrer. Midtjylland's Kjell Wätjen was sent off just before half-time after a second yellow card, leaving the home side with ten men.

Owen Wijndal, Davy Klaassen, Oscar Gloukh and substitute Marcos Leonardo scored the other goals. Leonardo scored for the first time since late August.

Ajax have 6 points after three matches in the Conference League phase. They beat Atalanta earlier and lost to Hajduk Split. Arokodare now has 12 goals for Ajax.
