Vierdaagsefeesten

The Vierdaagsefeesten are the street festival held in Nijmegen alongside the Nijmegen Four Days Marches (Vierdaagse), a multi-day walking event held every July. They bring concerts, stages, and parties to the city centre and draw very large crowds, many of them young people. Because the festivities run late into the night in crowded public spaces, they are often the subject of police and municipal attention.
