Versterkingsagenda Taal en andere basisvaardigheden

The Strengthening Agenda for Language and Other Basic Skills is a government plan for improving the basic skills of pupils in Dutch primary and secondary education, mainly reading and writing (language) and arithmetic. It sets out the measures the cabinet and the education sector are to take, and it is sent to the Tweede Kamer (House of Representatives) for discussion. It matters because these basic skills underpin all further learning and later participation in work and society.
