Veiligheidsregio Utrecht

The Utrecht safety region is one of the regional bodies in the Netherlands that coordinate emergency services, such as the fire brigade, crisis management and medical assistance, for the municipalities in the province of Utrecht. It acts as a joint organisation of those municipalities, so when an incident needs several services to work together, it leads or supports the response and informs the public. Its role is to plan for, prevent and manage disasters and emergencies in the region.
