KWF (Koningin Wilhelmina Fonds)

The Dutch Cancer Society is the Netherlands' largest independent cancer charity. It funds cancer research and provides information and support to people with cancer and their families, and it is officially called KWF Kankerbestrijding. Its work is financed mainly by donations and fundraising events, such as sponsored sports events and campaigns, so it is a familiar name in Dutch public life.
