Extinction Rebellion (XR)

Extinction Rebellion is an international climate activist movement that uses nonviolent civil disobedience, such as road blockades and public demonstrations, to press governments to act on climate change and biodiversity loss. In the Netherlands its protests, often held in The Hague and Amsterdam, regularly lead to discussion between the group, the police and the authorities about how demonstrations should be policed.
