ASM International (ASMI)

ASM International is a semiconductor equipment company, listed on Euronext Amsterdam, that makes machines used in the production of computer chips. Its equipment deposits and processes thin layers of material on silicon wafers, so it is a supplier to chipmakers rather than a chip designer. It is part of the Dutch high-tech industry around the chip supply chain.
