Storm Boelo gives way to dry, sunny start to week
After the weekend's storm, the week starts calmer, with unusually warm air for late October on Tuesday and quiet, dry autumn weather from Thursday.
The week starts dry and sunny in most places after storm Boelo, but a firm southerly wind will keep blowing on Monday and Tuesday. On both afternoons there is a chance of rain from the west.
Tuesday is the standout. Weather service Weeronline expects maximum temperatures of 17 to 18 degrees, exceptionally mild for the end of October. In Limburg it can reach 19 degrees locally.
Temperatures ease towards midweek. Wednesday will bring a maximum of about 14C, with the odd shower but a mostly dry day.
From Thursday the wind will largely die down and the weather will turn calm, dry and sunny. Mist may form locally in the morning. The chance of mist rises on Friday, when many places may start grey before the sun breaks through towards the end of the morning.
