Ongoing KLM extends flight suspension to Riyadh, Dammam and Dubai to 31 October

KLM has pushed back the restart of its flights to Saudi Arabia and Dubai by at least a week, and passengers with bookings can rebook or get a refund.

KLM will not fly to Riyadh, Dammam or Dubai until at least 31 October, the airline announced. It had planned to resume flights on 25 October, but that date has been pushed back after the attacks on Riyadh's airport.

KLM said affected passengers have been informed. They can rebook their flight or request a refund.

Riyadh's international airport remains closed to passengers after attacks by the Houthis, the group based in Yemen. The Saudi civil aviation authority said the airport stays closed to finish procedures that make sure the airport is safe and ready to operate.
