The Dutch Land Registry and Cadastre is the national agency that keeps the official public registers of land and property in the Netherlands. It records who owns each property, the rights and mortgages attached to it, and the boundaries of parcels on official maps. Notaries, banks and residents regularly consult its registers, for example when buying or selling a home.
