Utrechtse Heuvelrug
A forested ridge of low sandhills in the province of Utrecht that forms one of the largest continuous nature reserves in the Netherlands. The landscape consists of pine and mixed forests, heathlands, and sand drifts, with a significant portion protected as a national park. It provides an important habitat for native wildlife species and serves as a major area for nature conservation and outdoor recreation.
