Prime Minister Jetten gave parliament wrong information on AI use
Prime Minister Rob Jetten told parliament that no AI was used on his official social media channels, but a newspaper investigation shows it was.
Prime Minister Rob Jetten informed the Tweede Kamer, the Dutch parliament's lower house, incorrectly about his use of artificial intelligence. In answers to parliamentary questions, he said no AI had been used on his official social media channels.
Jetten gave that answer on 29 September. He wrote that "no use has been made of AI" on his official accounts.
A newspaper investigation has now shown that AI was used on those channels after all. That contradicts what the prime minister told parliament.
Tweede Kamer (Dutch House of Representatives)
The Tweede Kamer is the lower house of the Dutch parliament, consisting of 150 elected members who represent the Dutch people. It is where most legislation is debated and passed, and it holds the government accountable through questions and scrutiny. Members are elected every four years in national elections.
