Police are looking for a man who, they say, withdrew almost €2,500 in cash with a stolen credit card at several places in Rotterdam between Sunday 19 July and Wednesday 22 July 2026. Police say the card belongs to a woman from the Schiebroek district and suspect it was stolen from her home.

A second police appeal, in the detection programme Plaats Delict, concerns a man suspected of buying a smartphone worth almost €1,400 at an electronics store in Rotterdam. Police say he used the card details of a 41-year-old woman from Barneveld, obtained through a phishing email that appeared to come from ICS Card Services. She was asked to identify herself online, which gave criminals access to her credit card account.

Police have camera images of the man in the Rotterdam cash withdrawals. The images in the Plaats Delict appeal show a man with a small beard, a cap and dark clothing. Tips go to police on 0800-6070, or anonymously to Meld Misdaad Anoniem on 0800-7000.
