Police arrested three men, aged 23, 25 and 40, at a company in Raamsdonksveer on Saturday evening on suspicion of theft by burglary. They have no fixed home or residence.

A patrolling officer saw them at around 8pm, standing behind the security fences. The company was closed, so the officer found the situation suspicious. A check of their car turned up burglary tools.

The company makes pneumatic equipment, which runs on compressed air and is used by the fire brigade, among others. Police said fire stations have recently been broken into at several places in the Netherlands, with such equipment stolen, so officers are patrolling the area around the company extra.
