Train services between Amsterdam Centraal and Utrecht Centraal resumed on Monday after being suspended for about three hours during the morning rush hour. The cause was a collision on the track.

The national railway operator NS had said on its website that it expected the disruption to last until 10:30.

People travelling between Amsterdam and Utrecht Centraal could go round the stoppage via Amsterdam Zuid and Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena stations.
