KLM will not fly from Amsterdam to Dubai until 27 March 2027 inclusive because of the war in the Middle East, the airline says on its website. The flights were already suspended, and the airline has now extended the suspension.

The airline had planned to restart the Dubai flights this autumn. It has dropped that plan, so the suspension now covers the whole winter.

KLM has also cancelled its flights to Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia until 27 November 2026.

The Saudi cancellations end four months before the Dubai suspension does: the Saudi flights are off until 27 November 2026, the Dubai flights until 27 March 2027.

KLM has not flown to Dubai since the start of this year. A KLM spokeswoman said the airline repeatedly postponed the restart, by a few months at most, and has now decided to cancel for longer.

The spokeswoman said the longer cancellation is partly so the airline can use the aircraft on other destinations.
