A package containing a dead animal was delivered to the Oldebroek town hall on Tuesday afternoon. It came with a letter to the municipal executive about what it should or should not do about the wolf, Mayor Tanja Haseloop-Amsing told a council meeting on Tuesday evening.

Police have been called in and have made inquiries in the area. The municipality will install cameras. The mayor said the incident affected staff. "Although we understand the desperation very well, intimidation is not the way to get something we cannot give either," she said, and she called on people to stop such actions.
