A line bus run by Qbuzz burned out completely on the N371 at Hoogersmilde in Drenthe on Monday morning. Nobody was injured.

The driver noticed the fire in time and pulled the bus over to the side of the road. The driver and all passengers got out safely.

The fire brigade has put out the fire. Only the frame of the bus is left. The bus was an articulated one, and the fire brigade said it ran on diesel.

The N371 was closed between Hoogersmilde and Smilde because of the fire. The bus still had to be recovered and the road surface cleaned.
